CORPORATE OVERVIEW - COMMUNITY COMMITMENT
A community is defined not only by bricks and mortar, but also by its spirit.
Diamond Ventures is committed to a corporate culture that encourages community involvement,
investment and volunteerism by our employees, all of whom regularly support organizations
within the communities where the company has a presence.
"We make a positive difference by developing attractive and environmentally sensitive neighborhoods, communities and commercial properties,
providing jobs and giving back through charitable and civic endeavors," explains Helaine Levy, Director of Community Relations.
Diamond Ventures gave $1 million to the United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona. At the
time, this gift was the largest single donation in the organization's 78-year history.
A land gift to United Community Health Center in Green Valley/Sahuarita will help make possible a 7,200-square-foot addition to its campus, and expanded community outreach and healthcare services for local residents.
Diamond Ventures is a presenting sponsor of the annual El Tour de Tucson perimeter bicycle
race which has raised more than $3.5 million for six local charitable organizations over the
past two decades.
Our sponsorship of the Arizona Women's Conference helps them focus on the health and
well-being, employment, education and political participation issues important to Arizona
women.
"We do more than support organizations financially. We also invest employee time and expertise
to help our community prosper." -Donald R. Diamond, Founder & Chairman
